Boy Hung Upside Down Over Scorching Coal In Madhya Pradesh, 3 Arrested

Pandhurna, Madhya Pradesh:

Three individuals had been arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Pandhurna district after a video of them hanging a minor boy the wrong way up and inserting sizzling coal close to his head surfaced on social media, police mentioned on Monday.

The incident occurred on Sunday in Mohgaon, round 30 km from the district headquarters, they mentioned.

The viral video exhibits a boy hanging the wrong way up with fingers tied with a rope and crying loudly, and later, a tray of sizzling coal is positioned close to his head. A person can also be seen tying one other boy within the video.

Within the video, persons are heard accusing the boy of stealing a watch and different objects.

Pandhurna’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Sundar Singh Kanesh mentioned the police arrested three individuals allegedly concerned within the incident and booked them beneath sections 137(2) (kidnapping), 127(2) (wrongful confinement), 115 (inflicting harm), 296 (obscene act) and different related provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).

In the meantime, former chief minister Kamal Nath condemned the incident.

In a publish on X, Nath wrote, “A video has surfaced of a small youngster being hung the wrong way up and crushed after which two youngsters being compelled to inhale chilli smoke. This incident is very condemnable. There isn’t any place for such acts in a civilized society. I demand the native administration to take strict motion towards all of the culprits on this case.” The Congress chief mentioned he’s requesting the folks of Pandhurna and the complete Madhya Pradesh that dropping persistence in such small issues and punishing youngsters so brutally is harmful.

“If against the law is dedicated, motion ought to be taken in line with the regulation and never by taking the regulation in a single’s fingers and behaving brutally with youngsters. Such incidents of torturing youngsters carry down our area’s respect within the society,” he tweeted.
