After assembly with Joint Commissioner of Crime Department of Mumbai Police Lakhmi Gautam, Nationalist Congress Get together chief and son of former MLA and NCP chief Baba Siddique, Zeeshan Siddiqui on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction over the investigation in his father’s homicide and mentioned that the regulation and order have been made a joke in Mumbai.
“I had given the names of these whom I think in my assertion. After I requested if all of them had been questioned, I used to be advised that that they had not been questioned. After I requested the police why the statements of these builders weren’t recorded, they didn’t give me a passable reply. Seeing this, I really feel that regulation and order are being made a joke in Mumbai. This isn’t a good investigation, for I’ll now meet our chief and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar. I can even meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was my father’s buddy. I hope I’ll get justice. I’ll take each attainable step that I really feel is correct to get justice,” mentioned Zeeshan Siddiqui whereas chatting with the media.
“After my father was killed, it was mentioned that Bishnoi had carried out it. Why was this narrative set? I’m not denying this but when it has been carried out by the Bishnoi gang, then the accused have to be introduced again to India. That is condemnable,” he added.
Notably, Baba Siddique was an NCP chief who was shot useless by three assailants close to his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s, workplace in Mumbai’s Nirmal Nagar on October 12.

Mumbai Police’s investigation into the Baba Siddiqui homicide case has revealed that prime suspect Akashdeep Gill, arrested in Punjab, used a labourer’s cell hotspot to speak with key conspirators, together with mastermind Anmol Bishnoi, police mentioned.
Gill was recognized because the logistics coordinator within the homicide plot orchestrated by infamous gangster Anmol Bishnoi.
