The Election Fee on Thursday requested its Delhi chief electoral officer to probe the Aam Aadmi Occasion’s complaints towards BJP chief Parvesh Verma and allegations of additives and deletions within the electoral roll of the New Delhi Meeting seat.
Hours after Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Atishi led a delegation to the ballot authority, the Fee directed the CEO to get the criticism inquired into, verify the precise info, and take “instant acceptable motion” as per the provisions of the Mannequin Code of Conduct and electoral legal guidelines.
“Motion Taken Report shall even be despatched to the Fee,” EC advised its high official in Delhi.
An AAP delegation met the Fee on Thursday to lift allegations of violation of the Mannequin Code of Conduct towards Verma, the BJP’s candidate from the New Delhi seat.
Additionally they raised allegations of additives and deletions within the electoral roll of the Meeting constituency of New Delhi. A duplicate of the criticism by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal towards Verma was additionally submitted to the Fee by the celebration delegation.
