For the primary time in 35 years, the nationwide tricolour was unfurled at Tral in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday as patriotic songs marked the celebration of 76th Republic Day.

“The sight of individuals from all walks of life waving the tricolour was a testomony to Tral’s transformation and its aspirations for concord and improvement,” the officer stated.
He stated the participation of the youth underscored their want for a brighter and unified future rooted within the beliefs of democracy.
Because the tricolour fluttered proudly in opposition to the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, it grew to become an emblem of Tral’s journey in direction of peace, progress and its renewed dedication to the values enshrined within the Indian Structure, he stated.
