Fed up with alcoholic spouses, two ladies in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur tied the knot with one another. Kavita and Gunja, alias Bablu, acquired married on Thursday night on the Shiva Temple, additionally referred to as Choti Kashi, in Deoria. Each had been struggling home violence and had a chaotic marriage with their alcoholic husbands. Talking to the media, Gunja stated they selected a lifetime of love and peace.

Gunja and Kavita linked on social media platform, Instagram, and their bond grew stronger as they had been struggling similar plight. They advised reporters that they first linked on Instagram and had been introduced nearer by their related circumstances. Each endured home violence by the hands of their alcoholic spouses.
On the temple, Gunja assumed the position of the groom, utilized sindoor (vermillion) to Kavita, exchanged garlands along with her, and accomplished the seven pheras.
“We had been suffering from our husbands’ consuming and abusive conduct. This pushed us to decide on a lifetime of peace and love. We’ve determined to stay in Gorakhpur as a pair and work to maintain ourselves,” Gunja stated.
The 2 now plan to hire a room and start their journey as a married couple. Temple priest Uma Shankar Pandey stated the ladies bought garlands and sindoor, carried out rituals, and quietly left.
