Iron Construction Collapses In Odisha Cement Plant, A number of Staff Trapped

Some staff have been suspected to have been trapped beneath the particles after a coal hopper, an enormous iron construction, collapsed inside a cement manufacturing facility at Rajgangpur in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Thursday, police mentioned.

The incident occurred within the manufacturing facility when over a dozen labourers have been working close to the positioning, a senior officer mentioned.

After getting data, native police rushed to the spot and helped take away the particles.

“The coal hopper all of the sudden fell down. We’re on the spot now. The particles is being eliminated with the assistance of cranes. To this point no casualty or harm has been reported. However, we suspect that some staff might need been trapped contained in the particles as labourers normally work beneath the construction,” Rajgangpur Police Station inspector-in-charge Manaranjan Pradhan instructed PTI.
