PM Modi Needs S Jaishankar On His Birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday prolonged heartfelt birthday greetings to Exterior Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar, praising his diligent service to the nation and his efforts in bolstering India’s overseas relations.

Taking to the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “Birthday needs to EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar Ji. He has diligently served the nation and labored in direction of strengthening our overseas relations. I pray that he’s blessed with a protracted and wholesome life.”

Responding to the Prime Minister’s needs, EAM Jaishankar expressed gratitude and humility in his publish, stating, “Thanks, PM Narendra Modi, in your good needs. It is an excellent privilege to be a member of your workforce.”

EAM Jaishankar has been India’s Exterior Affairs Minister since Could 30, 2019, and is a Member of the Rajya Sabha, representing the state of Gujarat.

With a distinguished profession in diplomacy, he has served as India’s Overseas Secretary (2015–2018) and held key ambassadorial positions, together with Ambassador to the US (2013–2015), China (2009–2013), and the Czech Republic (2000–2004). Moreover, he was India’s Excessive Commissioner to Singapore (2007–2009) and has undertaken varied important assignments in Moscow, Colombo, Budapest, and Tokyo.

EAM Jaishankar’s educational credentials are equally spectacular. He graduated from St. Stephen’s School, College of Delhi, and holds a Grasp’s diploma in Political Science, together with an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Worldwide Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNU), Delhi.

In recognition of his contributions, he was honoured with the Padma Shri award in 2019. A prolific author, S. Jaishankar has authored acclaimed books, together with The India Manner: Methods for an Unsure World (2020) and Why Bharat Issues (2024). Dr Jaishankar’s management continues to strengthen the nation’s overseas coverage initiatives.
