Hardoi:
A 36-year-old lady from Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district allegedly deserted her husband and 6 kids and eloped with a beggar. The husband, Raju, has filed a police grievance below Part 87 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita that pertains to abducting a girl. Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused. The girl has been discovered, police have mentioned.
In his grievance, 45-year-old Raju has mentioned he lives in Hardoi’s Harpalpur space together with his spouse Rajeshwari and their six kids. Forty-five-year-old Nanhe Pandit, he has mentioned, would generally come to the neighbourhood to beg. It provides, “… whoever, by way of prison intimidation as outlined on this Sanhita or of abuse of authority or some other methodology of compulsion, induces any lady to go from anywhere with intent that she could also be, or realizing that it’s probably that she will likely be, compelled or seduced to illicit intercourse with one other particular person shall even be punishable as aforesaid,” it provides.
