An investigation is underway to determine the reason for the fireplace, officers stated.

At the least two individuals suffered minor accidents and over 15 homes had been burnt in a hearth in Manipur’s Moreh city alongside the India-Myanmar border on Sunday, a defence assertion stated.
The fireplace erupted in Mission Veng locality of Moreh in Tengnoupal district, it stated.
“Assam Rifles and Manipur Hearth Companies promptly and doused a large fireplace that engulfed 15-20 homes in Mission Veng locality in Tengnoupal district,” it stated.
Two injured individuals had been evacuated and first-aid was administered, the assertion added.
An investigation is underway to determine the reason for the fireplace, officers stated.
