US President Joe Biden on Sunday declared January 9 a nationwide day of mourning for Jimmy Carter, calling on People to go to their locations of worship to “pay homage” to the late US chief.

“I name on the American folks to assemble on that day of their respective locations of worship, there to pay homage to the reminiscence of President James Earl Carter, Jr,” Biden mentioned in a White Home proclamation. “I invite the folks of the world who share our grief to hitch us on this solemn observance.”
