Railways cancels 150 trains, together with Vande Bharat and Shatabdi Specific – India TV

Punjab bandh: The Railways cancelled 150 trains on Monday because of a Punjab bandh referred to as by the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political). Why has bandh been referred to as? 

Kisan Mazdoor Sanghrash Committee’s chief  Sarvan Singh Pandher confirmed that the bandh is a part of their ongoing protest and is aimed toward elevating their calls for. This bandh will drive the Centre to just accept the calls for of farmers, the farmer chief mentioned as he slammed the union authorities for failing to just accept the calls for of farmers, he added. The choice to present a name for a ‘Punjab bandh’ was taken final week by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha.
