4 staff die after inhaling poisonous fuel at chemical plant in Gujarat’s Bharuch – India TV

4 staff had been left lifeless after they inhaled poisonous fuel at a chemical plant at Dahej  in Gujarat’s Bharuch district, the police stated on Sunday. The manufacturing unit staff misplaced consciousness after inhaling the poisonous fumes leaking from a pipe at a manufacturing unit of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Restricted (GFL) at round 10 pm on Saturday. 

Quickly after they had been rushed to the hospital, nonetheless, three of them died at round 3 am on Sunday whereas one other succumbed at 6 am, Dahej police station inspector BM Patidar stated. 

“The incident occurred at round 10 pm when the 4 staff fell unconscious resulting from fuel leakage from the pipe passing via the bottom ground of the corporate’s CMS plant. They had been rushed to a personal hospital the place all 4 of them died,” he stated.

The our bodies of the employees had been despatched for postmortem and additional probe into the incident was underway, the official stated.
