Three labourers killed, six injured as transmission tower collapses on them in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi – India TV

Transmission tower collapse: Not less than three labourers had been killed and 6 others injured after a 400 KV transmission line tower fell on them in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, mentioned a police official. The incident occurred in Aamdad village beneath Rampur Naikin tehsil at round 12:30 pm.

Sidhi Superintendent of Police Ravindra Verma mentioned, “The labourers had been changing previous transmission towers with new ones. A tower collapsed on a gaggle of labourers, killing two on the spot, whereas a 3rd individual succumbed to accidents enroute to hospital. Six individuals had been injured and have been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical Faculty, Rewa.” 

He additional mentioned that the identities of the deceased, who belong to West Bengal, are being ascertained.
