Former prime minister Manmohan Singh made “strategic corrections” to India’s international coverage, Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar mentioned on Thursday, condoling the dying of the Congress chief.
Dr Singh, the architect of India’s financial reforms, died on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday night time. He was 92.
“Deeply grieved on the passing away of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh right this moment,” Mr Jaishankar mentioned on X.
“Whereas considered the architect of Indian financial reforms, he was equally accountable for the strategic corrections to our international coverage.” “Was immensely privileged to work intently with him. Will all the time keep in mind his kindness and courtesy,” the exterior affairs minister mentioned.
