Damascus:
Syria’s new inside minister stated Wednesday that 14 personnel had been killed by “remnants” of toppled chief Bashar al-Assad’s “regime” in Tartus province, after a conflict monitor reported lethal clashes within the area.
Inside Minister Mohammed Abdel Rahman stated in a press release that “14 inside ministry personnel had been killed and 10 others wounded after… a treacherous ambush by remnants of the legal regime” in Tartus province “whereas performing their duties of sustaining safety and security”.
