9-Yr-Previous Lady Killed, 3 Injured In Water Tank Burst In Mumbai


Mumbai:

A nine-year-old lady was killed and three others, together with a minor, have been injured on Wednesday night after a Strengthened Cement Concrete (RCC) water tank burst on the BMC employees colony in Nagpada space of Mumbai, officers mentioned.

The non permanent tank was put in for setting up SWM employees quarters by the Aashray Yojana Cell of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Company.

4 individuals, together with two minors, have been injured and rushed to a close-by Faujiya hospital. A nine-year-old lady was declared as introduced useless, whereas three others are in steady situation, an official mentioned.

“All of the injured and the deceased have been contractor employees,” he mentioned, including that water stress was the prima facie trigger behind the incident.

The incident, reported by the Mumbai Police management room, occurred round 5:43 pm.

The lady who died was recognized as Khushi Khatun (9) and the injured individuals are recognized as Gulam Rasul (32), Miraj Khatun (9), and Najranabibi (33), the official added.
