Syria condemned Israeli air strikes in opposition to Iran on Saturday, saying it affirmed its ally’s proper to self-defence.
Expressing its “solidarity” with Iran, the Syrian overseas ministry stated in a press release that it supported “Iran’s reliable proper to defend itself and shield its territory and the lives of its residents”.
